JULY 2008 - Fishing for Trash

(Quincy, MA) The community of Scituate in Massachusetts is the third community to join  Covanta's Fishing-for -Energy program.  Launched by NOAA, NFWF, and Covanta earlier this year, the program aims to protect our oceans waters by converting abandoned fishing gear into energy.
